This error typically appears when you attempt to record your screen without granting the necessary screen-sharing permissions. It can also occur if you stop sharing a previously selected screen before you start recording. To avoid this issue, we recommend clicking ‘Hide’ instead of ‘Stop sharing’ when you no longer want the screen to be visible.
How to Fix the Error:
1. Refresh the recording screen:
Simply refresh the page. This will reload the recording session, allowing you to choose the layout you want and start again.
OR
2. Re-select your layout:
• Click on your desired layout, such as ‘Screen & webcam’ or ‘Screen’. This will display the available windows for screen sharing.
• If you’re already on your selected layout, try switching to another layout and then switching back. This will often trigger the screen-sharing prompt again.
