You can add custom fonts to your brand kit to ensure that your videos maintain a consistent look and feel, typography-wise.
To add your custom fonts to your brand:
On the homepage, select ‘Brand Kits’ to go to the brand's page.
You can access the brand kits from any page on the app. Check the header or your left navigation page, depending on the page you are on.
If you already have a brand set up, select the specific brand to access its brand kit.
If you don’t have a brand set up, you can create one to get started. Learn more about how to create a brand kit.
Whether you’re setting up a new brand or editing an existing one, you will eventually land inside the brand kit.
Inside the brand kit, scroll to the ‘Fonts’ section.
Click the fonts selection dropdown and click ‘Upload Fonts’ to open a pop-up where you can upload your font files.
If you have already uploaded a custom font on the storyboard, you can simply select it here to make it your brand font.
If you wish to upload another custom font as your brand font. Click the ‘Manage’ link to open the pop-up.
Once the upload is complete, click ‘Done’ to close the pop-up.
The last uploaded font will be automatically selected as your brand font. You can change it by opening the dropdown and selecting another font.
Once you’re done, you can either add other brand elements or leave the page. Your changes are automatically saved.
In a team workspace, you can share the brand kit with your team members. They will be able to use the brand font by applying the brand to any project.
Anytime this brand is applied to a project, the brand font will automatically be applied to the text in the project.
The ‘BRAND’ tag will appear next to the font to indicate it as a custom brand font.
And that's how you can add a custom font to your brand kit on Pictory!
