Setting Up SSO in Pictory

Single Sign-On (SSO) allows your team to securely access Pictory using your organization’s identity provider (IdP). This guide walks you through how to request, configure, and test SSO for your account.

Requesting SSO Setup

To get started with SSO for your Pictory account:

  • Reach out to your Account Manager at Pictory to request SSO setup

Note: Pictory currently supports SP-initiated login only. IdP-initiated login is not supported.

Step 1: Configure Your Identity Provider (IdP)

Once SSO setup is initiated, our team will share a configuration link with you.

To complete setup:

  • Open the configuration link

  • Access the Admin Portal

  • Select your Identity Provider (IdP) from the available options

  • Follow the guided steps to complete the configuration

After completing these steps, your SSO setup will be ready for testing.

Step 2: Test and Enable SSO

After configuration:

  • Run a test login using SSO

  • If setup is successful, you will see a login confirmation screen

This confirms that the connection between your IdP and Pictory is working correctly.

What Happens Next

Once SSO is successfully enabled:

  • Users can log in using Sign in with SSO on the login page

  • Authentication will be handled through your organization’s IdP

  • Existing accounts with the same email will automatically link

If you encounter any issues during setup or testing, please contact your Account Manager or reach out to support via the chat on pictory.ai.
