Pictory capabilities are verified skills you earn by completing guided workflows in Pictory. Once you've earned one, you can connect your LinkedIn account and showcase that capability on your LinkedIn profile. This article shows how to find your capabilities, earn one, and add it to LinkedIn.

You earn a capability by completing all the tasks in its workflow.
You can have one Pictory capability on your LinkedIn profile at a time. You can swap it whenever you like.
Step 1: Open My Pictory capabilities
On the home screen, scroll down to My Pictory capabilities. The header shows your progress. Use the filter tabs to sort the list: All, Earned, In progress, and Not started.
Each capability shows a status on the right:
Not started: you haven't begun the workflow.
In progress: you've started but not finished all the tasks.
Earned: you've completed the workflow and unlocked the capability.
Earned capabilities show an Add to LinkedIn button. The one currently on your profile shows Currently on LinkedIn.
Step 2: See what a capability requires
Click any capability to open its detail view. It lists the tasks you need to complete to earn it and gives you a button to start the matching workflow (for example, "Try Recording").
For example, Flow fixer asks you to:
Capture or upload a screen recording.
Use AI to remove filler words or improve the recording flow.
Add or confirm captions for the video.
Successfully generate the final screen-recording video.
The same view notes that you can have one Pictory capability on LinkedIn at a time and can swap it anytime.
Step 3: Earn the capability
Complete every task in the workflow. As you go, the status moves from Not started to In progress, and to Earned once all tasks are done. When a capability is Earned, its Add to LinkedIn button becomes active.
Step 4: Add the capability to LinkedIn
Click Add to LinkedIn on the earned capability. If your LinkedIn account isn't connected yet, you'll be prompted to connect it and authorize Pictory. Once connected, the capability is posted to your LinkedIn profile.
Step 5: Swapping the capability on LinkedIn
You can feature only one Pictory capability on LinkedIn at a time. If you click Add to LinkedIn on a different earned capability, it replaces the one currently on your profile. The capability that was showing Currently on LinkedIn is swapped out for the new one, and your LinkedIn profile updates to match.
Tips
Pick the capability that fits your story. Since only one shows on LinkedIn, choose the one most relevant to how you want to be seen, and swap it as your focus changes.
Check the task list first. Open a capability before starting so you know exactly what's needed to earn it.
