Our improved ‘Article to Video’ tool now uses AI to create better video summaries from text-based online content such as articles and blog posts.
Before we used to just pick out sentences from the text, which occasionally made the summaries choppy and hard to follow. Now, instead of copying sentences, this method understands the main ideas and rewrites them in a smooth, easy-to-read way. The summaries are now shorter, more accurate, and easier to understand.
How It Works
Here’s how you can get started:
Go to the second box on the homepage labeled - 'Article to Video'.
Paste the URL of the content you wish to summarize. The system can summarize various content types (articles, blogs, reviews, academic papers, etc.)
Our AI processes the content, understanding its context and key points.
In just a few seconds, you will receive a comprehensive summary that provides an overview of the original content.
You can review the AI summary for accuracy (recommended for very technical or specialized content).
Click 'Next' to proceed to the storyboard where a video will be created based on the summary of your content.

FAQs
Q: How long does it take to generate a summary?
A: Typically, summaries are generated within 30 seconds, depending on the length of the original content.
Q: Is there a limit to the length of content I can summarize?
A: While there's no strict limit, the service performs best on content less than 10,000 words.
Q: Can I customize the length of the summary?
A: Currently, the service automatically determines the optimal summary length. We're working on adding customization options in future updates.
Q: What are the limitations of this service?
A: The service works best with text-based content; it cannot summarize links with only images or videos directly.
Q: Will this work with all URLs?
A: No. The service might run into issues with links that aren't publicly available. Ensure that the URL you are using is correct and accessible when trying to summarize an article. Articles behind a paywall, archived content, too long articles, etc., will likely not return any summarization.
Q: Are there language restrictions for the URL?
A: The content to be transcribed can be in any language. Our service supports a range of other languages in addition to English. Your summarization will also be provided in the original language of the source content.
Q: Is this available to all users?
A: Yes. This is available to users on Pictory, including users on the Free Trial.
