Adding pauses in an AI voiceover is a great way to enhance pacing and achieve a more natural speech delivery. However, sometimes the inserted pauses may not sound as expected, potentially resulting in issues such as glitches or gibberish narration. In this case, here are some methods to address this issue:

1. Adjust the Pause Duration

Often, the simplest solution is adjusting the pause duration. For instance, you can change it from 1.25s to 1.2s or whatever works best for you. We recommend that you try this option first before as your quota will not be deducted with this method.

2. Regenerate the Voiceover

You can also regenerate the voiceover or apply a new AI voice to resolve pause-related issues. However please note that regenerating the voiceover or applying a new one will incur a quota deduction.

3. Use Dashes

Adding a dash `-` between words can create a pause. You can use multiple dashes to create pauses of varying lengths `-- --`.

   Example:
- Single dash (-) for a brief pause: "Please - take - a seat."
- Em-dash (β€”) for a slightly longer pause: "She hesitated β€” unsure of her next move."
- Multiple dashes (-- --) for extended pauses: "The room fell silent -- -- as the news sank in."

4. Use Ellipses

Inserting ellipses `...` between words can introduce pauses, but be aware that this might add a tone of hesitation or uncertainty.

Example: `"Well... I'm not sure... let me think."`

Experiment with alternatives or combinations if one approach doesn't yield the desired result. Just to let you know, these methods may not always work consistently as the AI's interpretation of pauses can vary. However, they can help reduce gibberish in the narration and improve the overall pacing and clarity of the voiceover.
