You can include multiple background music (BGM) tracks in your Pictory project by using videos that already contain their own background music. While Pictory doesn’t currently support adding multiple BGM tracks directly, the following steps will help you easily play the audio from your uploaded videos in your project:

  1. On the storyboard, go to the Visuals section in the left-hand menu.

  2. In the My Uploads tab under Visuals, upload your videos if you haven’t done so already.

  3. Once uploaded, you can either:

    1. Add the video as a layer to the scene, or

    2. Apply it directly as a background visual for the scene.

  4. In the right-hand viewport, click on the Settings icon in the scene bar for the selected scene.

  5. If your uploaded video contains audio, the Mute Uploaded Video option will be enabled by default.

  6. Toggle off Mute Uploaded Video to activate the audio for the video. This will enable the audio for all uploaded videos with audio in that scene.

  7. In the same Settings menu, toggle off Voiceover and Background Music (BGM) to avoid interference.

    1. Voiceover: If an AI or custom voiceover is applied to your project, it will override the audio from your uploaded video unless toggled off.

    2. BGM: Disabling Pictory’s BGM ensures your video’s original background music plays without conflict.

  8. Follow the steps above for any additional scenes where you’ve uploaded videos with their own audio.

  9. Preview your scenes to confirm the audio plays as expected.

  10. If everything sounds right, proceed with further edits or download your completed video.

And that’s it! By following these steps, you can easily include multiple BGM tracks in your video using Pictory.
