Our pricing model has shifted from being based on the number of videos to being based on the number of video-minutes.

We've updated our pricing structure from a "number of videos" model to a "number of video-minutes" model. This change affects how your video quota is displayed and calculated. Here's everything you need to know about how the new pricing structure works:

For existing users:

  • Why am I seeing "video minutes" instead of "videos" in my account?

Effective today, you can create as many videos as you want from within your purchased video minutes. Don't worry - your plan hasn't changed, the change is in how your quota is displayed. Instead of seeing your quota as a number of videos, you will now see it as video minutes.

  • What does this mean for my current plan?

Your quota has been converted to video minutes based on your current plan. Here’s how it works:

Your quota = (Number of videos in your plan) × (Maximum minutes per video allowed in your plan)

For instance, if your plan allows 60 videos per month with a maximum length of 20 minutes each, your new quota will be 1200 video minutes per month (60 videos x 20 minutes).

Old Display: 60 videos per month, each up to 20 minutes long.

New Display: 1200 video-minutes per month.

  • How does this affect my current month's quota?

Your available quota for the current month remains the same, now expressed in minutes instead of videos. You can use these minutes flexibly - for numerous short videos or fewer longer ones, up to your plan's maximum length per video.

We recognize that adjusting to changes can be challenging. To ease your transition, we've reset your video and transcription quota for the current month to zero, effective July 17th—the date of the update. This gives you a fresh start with the new system.

  • What about my video quota moving forward?

Your video quota will renew on the 1st of each month, as usual. From this month, your usage will be tracked in video minutes. You can continue creating videos as before, with the only difference being the unit of measurement.

  • How will video minutes quota deduction work?

We understand that perfecting the first video in a project can be challenging. So we will only deduct from your video minutes quota for the initial video download of each project. Subsequent downloads within the same project will not affect your quota.

  • Am I on the new pricing plan?

No. As an existing user, you'll retain your current plan structure. The only change is how we display your quota.

  • What if I want to switch to the new plan?

When you purchase a new plan, you will be immediately switched to the new pricing plan.

For new users:

Starting immediately, all new users will be enrolled in the video-minute pricing structure. Existing users will retain their current plans but will see their quotas displayed in video minutes.

Why are we making this change?

The shift to a video-minute pricing structure is designed to:

  1. Provide more flexibility: You can now allocate your minutes more freely across multiple videos of varying lengths.

  2. Allow for simpler management: It's easier to keep track of the actual content length, which is a more accurate reflection of usage.

  3. Offer enhanced value: This model ensures you are getting the most out of your plan without being constrained by a fixed number of videos.
