Too much text on one scene can overwhelm the scene leaving little or no room for the visuals. This defeats the point of the video and if you are looking for a way to control how much text appears on each video scene, then read on to learn more.

These settings are on by default and we recommend leaving them as they are. If you prefer to customize how your text is segmented into scenes, here’s how you can do it it.

  1. After starting with either Text to video or URL to video, you’ll reach the Text Editor page (shown in the screenshot below).

  2. On the right-hand panel, go to the Scene settings section.

  3. Toggle off the first option – 'Creates scenes on sentences'.

    1. Do this if you do not want AI to create a new scene at every sentence break. Sentence breaks include punctuation such as full stops (.), exclamation marks (!), and question marks (?).

  4. Toggle off the second option - 'Create scenes on line breaks'.

    1. When this option is disabled, our AI will not create a new scene where there is a line break in your script, for example, at the start of new paragraphs or whenever you press ‘Enter’ while writing.

If you still have too much text on one scene after adjusting your settings on the script editor as described above, you can reduce the text on a scene by using the 'split scene' button. Please read this article to learn how you can achieve this.
