After creating a team or accepting an invite to join a team, you can begin working on new projects or import projects from your personal workspace to your teams workspace and continue from where you left off. Read on to learn how to do that.
From the homepage
On the homepage, first off, switch to a team's workspace by clicking on the team name from the profile drop-down.
Please note that whenever you switch from one workspace to another, you will always be taken to the workspace's projects page from where you can access other projects in that workspace, create a new project, and import an old project from your personal workspace and or computer.
In this case, we will be showing you how to import projects from your personal workspace or computer. So let's start by ensuring you are in the team's workspace.
When you have switched to the team's workspace, on the 'Team projects' page, if you haven't created any projects yet, you will still see the welcome message. Click the green button that says 'Import projects to collaborate' to get started.
You can also start by clicking the 'Import projects' button on the homepage.
If you have created a project, this message will disappear but you can still import projects by clicking the 'Import projects' button on the left panel.
Clicking the 'Import projects' button, whether on the homepage or projects page will open a modal where you will see the option to import projects from your personal workspace or upload them from your computer.
Select your the specific project you want to import by checking the checkbox on the project.
When you have selected the projects you want to import, click the 'Import' button.
The projects will be copied to your team's workspace where you can continue working on them.
You can also switch to the 'Upload files' tab to upload project files from your PC/laptop to your teams workspace.
Once your projects have been imported to the team's workspace, you can continue working on them and share them with your team members to collaborate with you on it.
