Want to give your videos and images a consistent look and theme across all scenes? Need to highlight certain visuals or make text pop? Maybe a light pink hue here, a grey tint there? You can do all that with the color overlay feature!

A color overlay can really up your game by improving image text readability. It dims the background just enough so your text stands out while keeping the images visible. The result? A professional and consistent look for your videos.

Here's a before and after of visuals with and without a black transparent overlay. Notice how the text becomes much more readable with the overlay, and while the visuals are slightly dimmed, they remain clearly visible.

Overlay settings for the visuals above:

  1. Color - Black

  2. Opacity - 40%

Where can you use color overlays?
