How to Apply Text Animations

Follow these steps to apply animations to your text:

  1. On the storyboard, go to the viewport on the right panel and select the text box you want to animate.

  2. When a text box is selected, a text toolbar will appear at the top of the viewport. Click the animation button on this toolbar.

3. Clicking the animation button will open the animation tab on the left panel.

4. In the animation tab, you will see a list of animation styles for both entry and exit. Hover over any animation thumbnail to preview it on the selected text box in the viewport.

5. When you find a suitable style, click the thumbnail to apply the animation to the text box.

  • You can further customize the animation using the available modifiers for the chosen style.

And that’s all you need to do to apply an animation to your text!

How to Remove Text Animations

Follow these steps to remove animations from your text:

  1. On the storyboard, go to the viewport on the right panel and select the text box from which you want to remove the animation.

  2. When a text box is selected, a text toolbar will appear at the top of the viewport. Click the animation button on this toolbar.

3. Clicking the animation button will open the animation tab on the left panel.

4. Click the first thumbnail labeled ‘None’ in the open animations tab. This will automatically remove any previously applied animation from the text box.

5. Ensure you do this in both the entry and exit sections if animations were applied to both. Selecting ‘None’ under the entry section will only remove the entry animation. You will need to go to the exit section and select ‘None’ to remove the exit animation.

And that’s all you need to do to remove an animation from your text!
